Slowey Forest Service Campground
This campground sits just off I90 along the shores of the Clark River. It is s a pretty good single night campground when you are headed somewhere and just need a quick pull off stop (Better than a Walmart)! We were en-route to a longer trip and used it for one night for exactly that purpose. It is a medium size campground with 27 sites. Some are large pull through sites that would accommodate bigger RVs like the site we chose, site #5. Each Site had a picnic table and fire ring. There are pit toilets and drinking water available. There are no hookups, no showers, and no dump station. There is an area to hand launch small boats. We walked across the gravel bar area to the east and were able to sit in a more private area along the river shore. A nice spot to take a break from driving and cool off in the water.
