We typically do not like to travel with reservations or pay more than $20 for a campsite. However when we found information on this location and it was in the general area of our upcoming road trip, we decided this one was worth it! There are 12 rustic campsites with no hookups, but what each has is a hot springs soaking tub! We were in site #8 and found it farely private even though there are not many trees or shrubbery around. We stayed in that tub well past sunset, with nothing but the sound of crickets to be heard, and then got up way before sunrise to soak again before we had to leave. The surrounding mountain ranges are beautiful at sunrise and sunset as you soak in your own private tub. Lots of lizards running around and sunning themselves on your warm rock pool surround with you. So relaxing and peaceful!
