Of all the paths you take in life… make sure a few of them are dirt ~ John Muir
Forest Rd 611, North Rim Grand Canyon
Our journey to the North Rim happened before the park was officially open, and thus we found that many back roads we tried to travel were covered with down trees. We had seen this spot on another online blog and we were determined to get there. We had to winch a large tree out of the road to allow us to get past..... But boy was it worth it! The view from our camp chairs on the edge of the north rim was AMAZING! I am not sure we will ever experience a campsite view like this again - but we are sure going to try!
