Frenchman Coulee, Vantage WA
Just off I90 in Eastern WA at Vantage. This is primarily a rock climbers base camp, but also serves well for a great overnight stop where you can camp right on the edge of the canyon, get in some nice vista views, a short hike to a falls, and a campfire! No question about it you will share this spot with other campers, these pictures were taken in March so even in winter it will be busy. But as long as you do not mind that, this is a great spot next to the towering basalt columns and canyon edge. One note about access, the entrance to this camping area has some pitch to it. Better suited for high clearance vehicles, and brave souls in truck campers...... see the video for more on that!
Video is on fast forward to not bore you with slow maneuvering
