Goosenecks State Park
Look Close..... There are small white RV specs along the cliff edge.... yep that is us! Amazing cliff side camping high above the San Juan River. Not for those with small children or animals that might go too close to the edge. Can be windy.... but that view is worth it! $10 per night dispersed camping in 2016.

Monument Valley: In all honesty we were not awed by Monument Valley, considering you pay a fee there, and Valley of the Gods is just as, or more beautiful.... and free. And the fact that you can camp in the Valley of the Gods under the shadow of a huge rock monolith makes it shine in comparison to Monument Valley. However, it is somewhat of an expectation if you are in the area though... so we did it.
