Morman Bend Forest Service Campground

A nice campground just off Idaho 75 and situated along the Salmon River.   The 15 sites in an open meadow do not allow for much privacy, however the sites are fairly spread apart.    Each site has a paved parking pad, a picnic table, and a fire ring.   Some are lucky enough to have river access like the one we chose, site #7.   There are vault toilets and drinking water.  No hookups and no reservations.   In 2015 the cost was $14 per night.  

Getting Here:
 From Stanley, ID, go 8 miles NE on ID 75.  The campground is on the right.
