Cascade Locks Marine Park Campground
This is definitely not our usual type of campground, nor would have picked it if we had other choices. However in the middle of a heavy snowfall winter when you can't get to Forest Service Roads, and most State Parks in the area are closed..... You try things you wouldn't normally try in order to be out exploring. It was really a pretty good location sitting right alongside the Columbia. If the sites were not so close together and had a little privacy, it wouldn't be too bad. There was only one other rig there at the same time, so for us it wasn't terrible. It does sit adjacent to the train tracks, so it can be noisy. And the entrance goes under an overpass with low clearance - 12'.... so take note if you are a high vehicle. We fit fine, but we wouldn't if we had our kayaks on top. In prime season prices are more expensive and they take reservations.... I would guess it is full in the summer months.
