If you have been looking around on our site.... this isn't the only Ski Mountain parking lot you have seen.... for Skiers and Boarders a truck camper is your hotel room on the mountain! Some are better than others, but all offer the convenience of being right next to the slopes and no spending extra money on a room. Some charge a fee, some don't. Mission has both fee spots at $20 (2019 prices) that are able to be reserved and free spots that are limited and first come first serve. Arrive early and avoid busy weekends if you are wanting a free space as it is limited and I have heard of it being full. We have always arrived on a Wednesday or Thursday night and had no problems.

On the Mountain......
Snowshoe to Lake Clara
A wonderful snowshoe to Clara Lake starts just steps away from the parking area at Mission Ridge. It is 3.2 miles roundtrip, mostly uphill on the way in. 900ft in elevation gain overall. It is year-round access on a nicely forested trail with a lake at the end and is Dog Friendly too!
