Mad River Rd Dispersed Site
Entiat, WA
It really was just a pullout on a Forest Service Road but it served well for a base camp for lots of day drives. It sat out on a ledge and got windy, but the view of the forest around was worth it. Nice flat area, very roomy for several campers if you had a group. Great Solar too. If you like deer this place was surrounded by them - I do not know if I have seen more deer driving around any area as I saw here. And where there are deer... you might find sheds.... my find was a small one, but still cool to find!

Nearby Hikes, Bikes & Other Sights.....
We often just pick a road and drive..... We always find lots of dirt and bumps..... Also awesome views and cool things like random swings at the end of a logging road! I can't tell you exactly which road any of these were on, but all were in the area!
More Campsites near by......
There were several other possible campsites going further up FS Rd 5700. Most look like seasonal deer camps but make for great boondocking campsites all year.
This spot is off Crum Canyon Rd - a road to the right off Entiat River Road before you reach Ardenvoir.
