Our Lance 1050s Mods
Outside Lance Graphics Change
I will start with the biggest modification and one that most people find ridiculous so we will just get it out of the way.....we changed the graphic colors on our brand new Lance 1050s. We loved the camper but hated the accent colors. We are die hard UW fans (Go Huskies!) and having that Maroon & Crimson color scheme was driving us crazy. So with the help of PDX Wraps in Sherwood, OR we got rid of them! I really wanted a flashy color like purple or teal in there..... but in the end we went with a neutral color scheme..... And we love the results!
Closet Redo
With our style of camping there was no way we were going to need a closet full on hanging clothes and we desperately needed more storage for folded stuff. So we swapped out the bar for shelves and doubled or more our storage space! We purchased our shelving at Home Depot if I recall, however it is available from Amazon by clicking the link below......
Shower Over Spray Solution
Our current camper is the first time we have ever had a true shower and yet it still seemed to get the bathroom all wet when we were using it. So we made a couple changes in order to keep the bathroom nice and dry while using the shower.
The first was these shower splash guards - Pretty inexpensive and easy project and a huge time saver in the long run. They are available from Amazon by clicking the link below....

I also hooked the shower curtain to the wall on the toilet side to prevent gaps and water from going out behind the toilet. Pretty easy project with tacky glue and industrial Velcro.... both can easily be found at a local store or click the pictures for links to order on Amazon.
Coffee Maker Securely Attached to Counter
We cannot live without our coffee! So, we have a full size coffee pot with us when we travel. We have an inverter that will run the coffee maker even if we have no power hookups (I will cover that in a future post). Every day we were getting out the coffee maker and putting it away, it took up lots of cupboard space, and often we were on the road before we had our second cup so in addition we were having to carry a thermos to hold it in. The solution was to use a strap with snaps to hold it up against the wall behind the sink when traveling. We freed up some cupboard space and made making coffee a breeze. And we can leave the second cup in the stainless carafe and it keeps it hot until the next stop. All safely secured while travelling.
This is the model that was easy mountable in our camper.
